You will run our day-to-day social media channels, posting regular updates from our work in Malawi to inform supporters and assist fundraising campaigns. We don't expect you to have everything! But you may have gained some of these skills through your work or other volunteering.
The ideal candidate is a prolific self-starter who loves creating social media content, and can help our team turn brainstorms into well-planned campaigns with beautiful content. You thrive in a tight knit, fast-paced, high functioning virtual team and are comfortable using online tools for communication and work organization, asynchronously, as our team is geographically dispersed. You feel that improving children's literacy and numeracy outcomes in Malawi's Primary Schools is of the utmost importance, and thus are compelled to make our social media output the best it can possibly be. You love creating templates, strategies and frameworks and teaching other enthusiastic and highly skilled volunteers to use them.
