We’re a new charity seeking a social media manager (minimum two days per week) to develop and maintain engaging online activity.

What will you be doing?

Volunteer Social Media Manager

We are a new charity organization looking for someone with experience on social media whose sole job it would be to think about how to keep activity levels on our social media high and keep people engaged. We are working for children and young people to improve their quality of lives by increasing access to comprehensive primary health care, escaping bonds of poverty and hopelessness by providing essential nourishment, education, life skills for their personal growth.

We are ideally looking for a minimum commitment of two days per week, which means creating a routine where you hit our social media accounts at least a few times each week.

Those without experience in this particular field but can contribute meaningfully in other area should feel free to apply as well. The work will be from home as we do not have paid offices.

We are always looking for enthusiastic people to join the GLC family.

What are we looking for?

  • Social Media Savvy: Growing and managing platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok)
  • Content & Design: Writing engaging posts and creating simple visuals (Canva, Spark)
  • Community & Analytics: Engaging followers and tracking performance with basic analytics
  • Campaign Planning: Running themed drives or fundraisers that boost awareness
  • Remote Collaboration: Working independently, meeting deadlines, and adapting quickly
  • Enthusiasm for our mission and a willingness to learn are just as important!

Even if you don’t tick every box, strong enthusiasm for our mission and a willingness to learn can make you a valuable addition to the GLC family!

What difference will you make?

A world where every child regardless of their background would have access to achieve their full potential.
