Join D.I.C.E as a Social Media Manager to support us in increasing our presence and impact! Raise awareness, engage followers, and empower our community through creative content.

What will you be doing?

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance our online presence and engagement.
  • Create engaging content for various social media platforms (such as Linkedin, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok) to raise awareness about our organisation's mission, programs, and impact.
  • Manage and maintain our social media accounts, including scheduling posts and monitoring analytics.
  • Collaborate with the team to align social media content with organisational goals and initiatives.
  • Utilise social media advertising and marketing techniques to reach target audiences and increase follower engagement.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in social media management to continuously improve our online presence and effectiveness.

Key Deliverable:

  • Increased brand visibility and engagement across social media platforms, resulting in expanded reach and impact of our programmes and initiatives.

Collaboration:

  • The Social Media Manager will work closely with our leadership team to ensure alignment with organisational goals and priorities.
  • We encourage creativity and innovation in social media management, and the volunteer will have the opportunity to contribute ideas and suggestions to further enhance our online presence.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven experience in managing social media accounts and creating content for a youth nonprofit organisation or relevant field.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite to produce visually appealing content.
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics and the ability to leverage data for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Passion for social impact and empowering young individuals. 
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and innovate in the social media space.
