Become our Social Media Maestro! Ignite change in the digital realm for children by curating engaging content and amplifying kindness and inclusivity. Join our team of volunteers in safeguarding the wellbeing of kids online and offline! 

What will you be doing?

Are you passionate about preventing cyberbullying and protecting children as they go online? Join Power of Zero as our Social Media Maestro and play a vital role in spreading awareness and inspiring positive change in the lives of children navigating the online world.

Responsibilities:

  • Curate and post compelling and engaging content on our social media platforms to raise awareness about our mission and initiatives.
  • Implement social media strategies to expand our reach and engage our target audience effectively.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to brainstorm and develop fresh content ideas that resonate with our followers.
  • Monitor social media interactions and respond to comments and messages in a timely and respectful manner.

Key Deliverable:

  • Regularly post engaging content that promotes kindness, inclusivity, and respect for children online and offline, ultimately building a stronger following and engaging our audience effectively.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the CEO to align content with the organization's objectives and track success. You'll be an integral part of our passionate and dedicated volunteer communications team.

Flexibility:

  • While the core responsibilities are outlined, we welcome your creative input and ideas to enhance our social media presence and impact positively on our mission.

What are we looking for?

Are you a social media influencer with a heart for children's wellbeing? We're seeking a passionate individual, ideally in their mid-20s or beyond, with a strong background in communications, preferably holding a degree or relevant experience. You've successfully navigated the world of social media, amassing the skills and insights needed to engage and grow audiences effectively.

Key Skills and Experience:

Social Media Expertise: Proficiency across major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).Ability to craft engaging, shareable content tailored to diverse audiences.Knowledge of social media management tools and analytics to measure performance and adapt strategies.Content Creation and Curation: Experience in creating eye-catching visuals and compelling written content.Understanding of SEO principles to optimize content for discoverability.

Audience Growth and Engagement: Proven track record of building and engaging online communities. Ability to strategize and execute campaigns to increase followers and drive interaction.Communication and Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team and align strategies with organizational objectives.

You care about child wellbeing: commitment to safeguarding children's wellbeing in the digital age and empathy towards the challenges and risks children face in the online world.

Creativity and Innovation:Ability to think creatively and develop fresh, innovative ideas to convey messages effectively.Openness to experimentation and willingness to adapt to evolving social media trends.Time Management and Dedication: Strong organizational skills to manage time efficiently and meet posting schedules.Dedication to contributing around 5 to 8 hours per week to drive the organization's mission forward.

Adaptability and Resilience: Adaptability to respond to audience feedback and swiftly adjust strategies.Resilience to navigate challenges and maintain a positive, solution-oriented approach.Tech-Savviness: Comfort with learning and utilizing various digital tools and technologies related to social media management
