We are looking for someone to take charge of our Social Media sites (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram). To enable these sites to support and promote Heal's work with orphaned and underprivileged children in India.
This volunteer will work as part of HEALs communication team. They will be responsible for Heal's Social Media sites and using them to promote the work of HEAL, and build up its following.

All funds raised are spent on furthering the Health and Education of orphaned or underprivileged children.
The volunteer will work with others in our communications team who gather content for our Website and regular newsletters. This content will be shared across all platforms. The volunteer will determine how best to share this content with the social media sites and how best to run campaigns on the Social Media sites, in consultation with HEAL's Head of Communications.
All duties of this role will be able to be performed from the volunteers home and there would be no need for any travel. Other volunteers are spread across the country (Peterborough, London, Yorkshire, North West). There would be opportunity to meet other volunteers, normally in Peterborough, if the volunteer desired. There would also be opportunity to visit India to see at first hand the work of HEAL, again this would be at the volunteers discretion.
We are looking for a creative, compassionate person with a 'can do' attitude who has good Social Media Skills. It will be vital that the person has previous experience of using Facebook and or Twitter/Instagram in a professional setting. Ideally. they should be familiar with all three.
We are looking for someone who understands what works in social media and how to build up a large following for the HEAL sites. Someone who would relish the opportunity to 'tell the HEAL story' in such a way that it would reach a wide audience and they would be able to engage with the audience.
This role could benefit HEAL greatly.
It has the potential to allow HEAL to reach a much wider audience and in particular younger people.
It should increase the funding that we are able to raise enabling us to give opportunity to more under privileged children in India.
It will promote compassion and understanding in others by giving insight into the lives of a diverse set of underprivileged children and show hope in the way that opportunity is being offered them.
It will inspire by showing how young people are willing to seize that opportunity through hard work and make for themselves good fulfilling lives.
