Are you passionate about supporting people with sensory loss? Skilled in creating engaging social media content? Then join us as a volunteer Social Media Content Creator and help support those with a sensory impairment.

What will you be doing?

As a volunteer Social Media Content Creator, you will be responsible for developing and sharing content that promotes sensory loss awareness, highlights our services, support and opportunities, while maximising engagement with our online community. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation: Develop engaging and informative social media posts inline with our mission.
  2. Campaign Development: Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote sensory loss awareness, support groups, activities and other initiatives.
  3. Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices. Use insights to optimize content strategy and enhance audience engagement.
  4. Analytics: Track and analyze the performance of social media posts and campaigns, using the data to inform future strategies.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with Project Coordinators to align social media content with overall organisational goals and campaigns.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A strong understanding of social media platforms.
  • Experience in creating engaging content, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Passion for supporting individuals with a sensory loss.
  • Basic knowledge of social media analytics tools and the ability to interpret data to improve content performance.
  • Creativity, adaptability, and a proactive approach to developing content and engaging with our audience.
