Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

To apply for this role, and any other on our platform, you need to be based in the UK, have at least three years of experience using the skills you wish to volunteer in a professional capacity or have lived experience (for trustee roles). Read more about our criteria.

Are you passionate about helping animals in your community?  Are you an expert in turning websites and social media into powerful tools to create awareness, build a following and raise funds?

What will you be doing?

We are seeking volunteers to supercharge our website and social media to boost awareness and increase fundraising.  By raising more funds we can support more animals and by investing a small amount of your time you can make a real difference and directly see the impact of your efforts.  Join a team of motivated people who use their skills to do something meaningful while collaborating with interesting people and having fun.

You will regularly post on our website, Facebook page and other social media to promote our fundraising events, make people aware of our animal welfare programs and update on the latest RSPCA news.  You will use your knowledge to guide the Branch team on how to increase the following on each platform, how to monetise the platforms and what else we can do online to increase fundraising.  Activities can be done from home and matched to your skills and availability.  Whether you have a lot of time or just a little bit of time, you can make a big difference.

What are we looking for?

You will be familiar with website management and posting on social media within organisation guidelines.  You will be able to create and drive actions to increase following, monetise the sites and create a social media strategy.  We are seeking multiple volunteers so we imagine each person will have a different expertise.  We support every type of animal and we seek every type of person - diversity is our strength.

We seek people who want to work together to improve animal welfare.  We are a team, we support each other and learn from each other.  We want you to bring your skills and motivation.  If you live on Teesside or live elsewhere and are excited by our mission we would love to hear from you.  Together we can make a real difference.

What difference will you make?

Successful navigation of social media, websites and eCommerce is critical to our ability to raise funds and create awareness.  You will be at the heart of a new approach and rapidly expanding activities.  Your success will allow us to help more animals in your community.
