Jordan Mission intends to improve life skills and develop self-esteem for young adults in East London (Newham). We're searching for an enthusiastic and creative volunteer to boost our online presence.
With your expertise in the Social Media and Communication, you would create, engaging content, manage social media platforms, connect with our audience and you work closely with our team.
Responsibilities:
* Create and schedule social media posts.
* Interact with followers, respond to comments/messages.
* Help develop and implement social media campaigns.
* Monitor and analyse social media metrics.
* Stay up-to-date on social media trends.
* To utilise your experience and skills in marketing strategy, social media marketing, graphic design, photography, digital and IT strategy.
We focus on young adults struggling in finding guidance and information for employment, apprenticeships, or training.
Requirements:
* Strong interest in social media.
* Excellent communication and writing skills.
* Excellent knowledge and experience in the social media platforms, marketing strategy
* Creative, self-motivated and passionate in graphic design and photography
* Ability to work independently in digital and IT strategy and as part of a team.
The Social Media Assistant Officer is a very important role within Jordan Mission, reporting directly to the Social Media & Communications Manager. The role will cut across all the different functions of Jordan Mission, working particularly closely with the Social Media & Communications Manager and Fundraising & Partnership Officer. The post-holder retains a cross-cutting responsibility for communications and liaising with senior individuals responsible for learning and development, to create a powerful and consistent narrative that underpins Jordan Mission’s communications with key stakeholder groups - including members, government, media and wider industry.
