We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented social media & email marketing Volunteer to help manage and enhance our online communication efforts.

What will you be doing?

  • Social Media Management:
    • Contribute to our social media planning and assist the Marketing team to gather impactful content from families and supporters to amplify our brand and messaging.
    • Build our follower base by optimizing our profiles, engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages and exchange shout outs with other accounts to mutually grow our following.
    • Identify partnerships and collaborate with other content creators to share each other’s content.
    • Monitor social media trends and make recommendations for strategy adjustments to increase engagement and reach.
    • Assist with uploading website content where required and ensuring imagery is well presented.

       

  • Email Marketing Campaigns:
    • Research ideas to contribute to the planning and execution of the charity’s email marketing to its service users to ensure they feel supported on their fundraising journey and identifying strategies to help them achieve their targets in efficient and creative ways.
    • Write compelling content for direct mail pieces, and other communication materials where required.
    • Contribute to the creation and execution of the email marketing function and schedule weekly when they are ready to go. 
    • Track and report on the effectiveness of direct mail campaigns in line with the marketing KPI’s.

  • Reliability: Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Team Player: work closely with the Marketing Officer and Family Support team.
