Help us create and implement a social media strategy that helps us connect to people who are socially isolated to help the latter actively engage with community support services.

What will you be doing?

  • Come and talk to us about our work and let us tell you want we want to achieve in the area of social isolation
  • Create a social media strategy
  • Train staff in social media usage
  • Keep an eye on how the strategy is working out

What are we looking for?

As a social media person we want your help to create and curate content across our social media channels. But firstly help us to create and embed our social media strategy, a strategy that motivates and enables socially isolated people to engage with our services leading to their independence and good health and wellbeing. We need you to have your finger on the pulse of the latest trends, with previous similar experience and insights to play a key role at our local but key charity here in NW London. You will support our staff to become skilled in social media activity and help us implement our strategy.

What difference will you make?

We have too many people in the wider community living in isolation for whatever reason. The digital age is not benefiting these people, yet! But we think it should. How about using social media to connect with everyone else to encourage and motivate others to identify people in their streets, communities and let us know so that we can help them/ Let's together show how social media can help our clients to feel connected and valued.

What's in it for the volunteer?

Opportunity to use their skills and motivation to make a lasting impact on local communities
