Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

To apply for this role, and any other on our platform, you need to be based in the UK, have at least three years of experience using the skills you wish to volunteer in a professional capacity or have lived experience (for trustee roles). Read more about our criteria.

You will help us amplify our impact by ensuring the stories we tell and the services we offer are visible, searchable, and discoverable by the communities that need them most.

What will you be doing?

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced SEO Specialist to help us optimise our website for search engines and improve our online visibility.

As our SEO lead, you will audit our current website, identify improvement opportunities, and implement strategies that will drive organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and increase engagement across our digital platforms. Your role will be crucial in helping us reach the right audiences—including women, community leaders, funders, and supporters—with the right message at the right time.

This is an exciting opportunity to use your digital expertise to support a meaningful cause and make a tangible difference.

Important Note:

This is a remote volunteer opportunity with flexible hours. Occasional online check-ins will be scheduled based on your availability.

What are we looking for?

  • Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS platforms
  • A good understanding of technical SEO, backlinks, and performance monitoring
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • A passion for using your skills to support social impact and community-led initiatives
