We support families who have children with additional needs. We are a non profit and completely self funded.

We are looking for any role that feels like they could help us.

We currently hold 2 regular support groups per week but we are also starting parent-carer only groups that require play workers to supervise the children so the parent-carers can get some respite.

We currently hold sessions in Caversham and Whitley but are hoping to start some in town as well. And once we are able to have our own permanant building we will be having more variety if sessions.

What are we looking for?

Applicants should have experience in any age of child care and SEND. We are happy to accept anyone who works in the field of SEND and child care/education. Applicants will need to have a current dbs.

We are looking for people who are patient, understanding, non judgemental, open minded and willing to learn.

What difference will you make?

You will help the children in a variety of ways such as helping with separation issues, social problems as well as provide a safe and fun environment for them.

You will also help the parent-carers gain some much needed respite which will help improve mental health and reduce isolation and loneliness that comes from caring for a child with additional needs.
