Trowbridge Sea Cadets is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated secretary to join its Unit Management Team (UMT). We are a long-established Sea Cadet unit that has provided life-changing opportunities for many young people. We currently have approx. 40 cadets who come from all over the area.
The charity is currently looking for volunteers that can support with the administrative management of the UMT meetings and the Annual General Meeting. There are free training courses available for you to develop new skills, boost your CV and support you in this role.

The role of Secretary is so important to us - not only do we need someone to keep us on track with scheduled UMT meetings, recording accurate minutes, the successful running of the Annual General Meeting to keep us constitutionally compliant, but even more significantly, we are looking for someone to help us sustain the longevity of our unit.
You will also play a key role in making a positive difference to teenagers who are often struggling in today’s world and their communities.

All trustees will be required to undertake mandatory induction training, DBS (paid for by the Sea Cadets) and courses to support your own personal development within your role.
