We’re looking for an experienced Secretary to join our Unit Management Team.

What will you be doing?

We’re looking for a Secretary with 3+ years’ experience to join our charity as a Trustee on our Unit Management Team.

You’ll assist the Chairperson with organising meetings, taking notes and liaising with internal & external stakeholders.

As an independent charity, recruiting skilled and passionate volunteers to join our team is vital to our mission of Inspiring young people to achieve their potential through challenge and nautical adventure guided by the customs and tradition of today’s Royal Navy.

Your experience will be invaluable to us as we grow our charity to offer even more young people the Sea Cadets Experience!

What are we looking for?

  • Problem-solving and thinking outside the box
  • Knowledge of secretarial best practices
  • Managing the charity’s resources responsibly
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently

What difference will you make?

Your previous experience will be invaluable to us, ensuring we have a strong Management Team contributing to the safe and effective management of our Sea Cadets unit.

This is a vital role, helping ensure we can continue our support for young people in Haringey.
