We are looking for an SEO Specialist to join our web development and marketing team, to enable our rapidly growing charity to grow in impact, reaching supporters and users, and supporting those who have experienced loss.
Your role will be to manage and optimise our website.
Working with our dedicated and passionate marketing team, you will use your SEO experience to help raise awareness of our therapeutic app and ensure that our latest project of internationalising our game is visible to thousands of young people who could benefit from this unique support, as well as with potential supporters and volunteers.
On a day to day basis, you will use keyword research and relevant tools to optimise our website. Working remotely, but liaising with a supportive team, you will help to ensure that we communicate in a meaningful way, and help to increase engagement and traffic to our website and game.
This will include:-
·Reviewing and analysing our website for areas that can be improved and optimised
·Working collaboratively with the social/creative teams to define requirement, style and appearance to ensure a consistent approach across the website
·Identifying powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic
·Filling the website and other content with effective keywords
·Developing link building strategies with the social/creative teams
·Recommending effective SEO content for blogs and social media accounts
You will be able to demonstrate your experience in SEO including keyword research, competitive analysis and website optimisation as well as proficiency in utilising SEMrush and similar tools.
This role is closely aligned to our internationalisation project, translating our award winning therapeutic game into five European languages, so fluency in Italian, German, French, Portuguese or Spanish would be a real asset.
You will also need to have excellent copywriting skills, able to create and review content in line with our brand voice and tone.
We are particularly aware of the dramatic effect that Covid19 is having on the mental health of our young people, particularly those grieving. This is an international crisis, and we are working hard to reach those who would benefit from our support.
In this role, you will be pivotal in helping us to reach out to those young people, as well as those who may be able to support our cause.
This is a new position, within a rapidly expanding marketing team dedicated to communicating our message. You would join at a very exciting and busy time for the charity.
We have an amazing team, all volunteers, and you would be welcomed into a supportive and collaborative environment.
You will be able to build on your experience and make a real difference.
