Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

To apply for this role, and any other on our platform, you need to be based in the UK, have at least three years of experience using the skills you wish to volunteer in a professional capacity or have lived experience (for trustee roles). Read more about our criteria.

We are looking for a creative, proactive, Sales and Marketing Executive to support the growth of our community outreach, fundraising, and public engagement through creating positive social change through strategic communication.

What will you be doing?

As Sales and Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for developing and delivering strategies that raise awareness of our charity’s work, attract new supporters, and generate engagement with both young people and the wider community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing marketing campaigns across social media, email, and print.
  • Supporting the development and promotion of events, programmes, and fundraising initiatives.
  • Managing the charity’s online presence (website, social media platforms, etc.).
  • Creating engaging content that reflects the voices and stories of our young people.
  • Developing relationships with local businesses, media outlets, and influencers to promote our mission.
  • Supporting the development of sales strategies for merchandise, events, and partnership opportunities.
  • Analysing engagement and campaign data to refine and improve strategy.

This is a key outward-facing role, working closely with programme leads and the leadership team to ensure a consistent and impactful brand presence.

What are we looking for?

To excel in this role, you should bring:

  • A genuine passion for youth empowerment and social impact.
  • Experience in marketing, communications, or sales (professional or volunteer-based).
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and content creation skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, Canva, Mailchimp, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • A creative and adaptable mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Confidence in building relationships and pitching ideas.
  • Basic data analysis skills (Google Analytics or similar tools) are a plus.

You do not need to be an expert — just someone committed to learning, growing, and helping a mission-driven organisation thrive. We particularly encourage applications from those with lived experience aligned with the communities we support.

What difference will you make?

Your work will directly help us reach more young people, build community trust, and inspire supporters to get involved. By raising the profile of our charity and its life-changing programmes, you’ll help us attract resources, volunteers, and opportunities that make our mission possible. You’ll turn visibility into action — and action into transformation for the next generation.
