UCEP (Uwakaneme Community Education Project) is a UK registered, Eastbourne based, charity set up to pay school fees and provide additional support for children from disadvantaged families in very poor communities in West Africa.
The volunteer will look after our relationships with some of the donors and prospective donors that support us.
They will maintain a database of our contact and and ensure that we cultivate good relationships and keep all our donors as well as add new donors. This is a key role and he/she will be working directly with the lead fundraising manager.
There is a team in place that will provide all necessary training in the computer software we use.
We are looking for a Customer Relationship Administrator with a genuine passion for helping others. This is a flexible role working 4-5 hours a week.
Possibility of being turned into an employed role in the future with increased hours.
The ideal candidate will be computer literate with strong communications skills. They will have experience with database management.
The life blood of any charity is fundraising and this volunteer's role is front and centre to the future support we are able to give to the many disadvantaged children we serve.
