Dip in and join this 3 day event for students in school, support our event back at a school, just for half a day, as part of the UK National Curriculum for Careers Information Advice and Guidance (CIAG).

What will you be doing?

You will be part of a carousel of workshops representing different disciplines and industries. Set a 30 minute student challenge relating to you work.  Do you know how you got into your role?  Do you know what you do as a job?  Did you know what you wanted to do when you left school?  What would you tell your 14yr old self? Do you live in the same town now that you went to school in? Most importantly did you have an opportunity to ask a business person about their careers.

Share all this knowledge #MakeaDifference #GiveBack With the effects of the lack of real work experience or part time work we have a generation of students who will have had little to no face to face contact with business people. Be one of the business people. This could be a team event.

What are we looking for?

  • 3 years business experience any industry.
  • Empathetic, good listener, confident communicator, good mentor.

What difference will you make?

Bringing the world of work into school, illustrating confidence to return to school, showing that business cares, demonstrating their are career opportunities, as it has only been virtual this will be incredible after the lack of careers expertise during COVID19, provide a link to the world of work that teachers cannot provide, motivate young people, generate interest in your industry, provide a real life knowledge share.
