Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

To apply for this role, and any other on our platform, you need to be based in the UK, have at least three years of experience using the skills you wish to volunteer in a professional capacity or have lived experience (for trustee roles). Read more about our criteria.

Do you have professional income generation expertise ?  We are looking for Trustees who will manage the affairs of the Branch and promote and provide animal welfare within the  local area

What will you be doing?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate person with a background in income generation who could devote their time to volunteer as a trustee for our Branch and support us in maximising the revenue generated.

Committee Meetings are held every 2 months generally 2 hours in duration. Above that, we are looking for someone with the right attitude to lead and drive our animal welfare charity. Ideally you can devote an average of 2 per week to this.

The position is home-based, and currently, committee meetings are held at our cattery but there may be an opportunity to joining virtually

What are we looking for?

We are committed to creating a Board which is representative of our society and in particular, our community and surrounding areas so encourage people from any background to apply for any of our opportunities.

Alongside income generation experience, we are looking for someone who is committed to the RSPCA’s charitable objectives and shares our passion for animal welfare. You would be creative, innovative, bring a fresh perspective, and can put ideas into action.

You will need to be able to work with people and have good interpersonal skills. You do not need to be an expert although commitment, common sense, and the ability to be objective are vital.

What difference will you make?

Alongside passing on your expertise, this opportunity will allow you to influence how we care for and prevent cruelty to animals and drive the implementation of key initiatives. You will serve on the governing body of the charity and be instrumental, alongside fellow trustees, in running the Branch and setting out both the short and long term aims.
