We are keen to welcome to our Trustee team someone with a background in Risk, Compliance or Health & Safety matters to work with our House Team and external professionals ensuring policies are up to date and actions completed on time.
Alongside the statutory duties of a Trustee, the main duty of the Risk and Compliance Trustee is to:
Work with the appointed Competent person to develop the annual plan for Risk, Compliance and Health & Safety matters. This will be based largely on recommendations made by external assessors for Health & Safety, Water Safety and Fire safety matters.
Encourage and guide our staff team in the delivery of that plan.
Abbeyfield Reigate provides sheltered accommodation for older people, and they have really appreciated the work we have done in recent years to upgrade the house and provide a house that feels like a home which also meets all the relevant safety requirements. The Trustee for risk and compliance will play a key role working with our external suppliers to make sure we continue to invest in improvements where that is needed.
