This role will conduct due diligence research on a number of prospective and current major donors, assessing the risks of accepting and publicly recognising their donations.
Since we have recently updated our Policy on accepting donations and the Risk Based Due Diligence Assessment, WDC now seek to consistently assess the viability and suitability of every partnership opportunity over £1,000; balancing the need for us to secure funds in order to deliver our strategic objectives vs potential reputational risks brought about by such relationships.
The purpose is to reach consensus on the levels of risk and to agree on a clear course of action.
We have a number of donors we would like to screen against the new criteria in order to understand the pros and cons of accepting donations, mapping the risks, agreeing mitigation measures and making recommendations for courses of action.
