Help us bring sport opportunities to disengaged kids. Our Grants and Proposal Writers need you to find the groups who will benefit from these projects in order for them to seek the all-important funding to make them happen.
This role is essential to facilitate the work of the Foundation. Funding is key to the success of projects, and the researchers will find the schools, community groups and businesses who are keen to collaborate. Coaches and mentors are engaged to run the projects, and these are paid for from grants and other funding sources. The team of Grants and Proposal Writers must constantly seek funding to build and consolidate the number of opportunities for young people. The Researchers are ambassadors for the Charity, identifying and engaging with the groups and finding supporting research/statistics to highlight the chance to provide exciting opportunities for 'hard to reach' kids.
to highlight the chance to provide exciting opportunities for 'hard to reach' kids.
You must have considerable research experience, understanding how to identify and approach organisations, schools and communities who would benefit from the work of the Foundation. Your results will be used by the Grants and Bid Writers to seek funding for these specific projects.
You will be confident, self-motivated and able to use your own initiative. Friendly and positive with excellent communication skills, and committed to achieving results.
The aim of the Foundation is to change the lives of young people, building skills and personal development, and encouraging them to aspire to more. Projects cannot go ahead without the funding, therefore fundraising is a most important part of the Charity's work. The researchers must be able to achieve results, gathering information for the Grants and Proposal Writers to submit their bids to funders.
This is a chance to create a successful support initiative using individual ideas, creative collaborations, and imaginative solutions.
