Short term project: 15-90 hours, completed within 4 months
This can be a short term or long term ongoing project but the initial Care Prize research project must be completed by the end of 2020.

We are looking for well qualified, skilled and experienced researchers to plan, manage, conduct and present the findings of their research that will underpin our future Prize campaigns and our causes. 

 

What will you be doing?

You will be working agilely together with our Creative and Campaigns team but mostly on your own autonomy to provide the research that will further underpin our future Prize campaigns. You will be reporting research findings that will raise awareness of our causes and strengthen the case for responsive action and audience engagement with our campaigns and our Prizes.

The research will also form the basis of our short video documentaries, our podcasts and some longer documentaries that will spearhead those Prize campaigns, therefore if you also have experience researching documentaries or making documentaries based on your own research this is a desirable bonus.

We are looking for researchers for the following Prize projects:

1. 2021 - Care Prize addressing 8 of the most critical issues faced by youth globally, (Initial research project ready by Dec 2020)

2. 2022 - Peace Prize, 3. 2022 - Climate Prize, 4. 2022 - CSR Prize 5. 2022 - Care Prize

Researchers will specialise in one Prize as a specialist in the related field or if not we will consider candidates with a passionate interest or commitment or previous experience in relation to a specific Prize or related cause. If a candidate feels they can specialise in more than one Prize and can commit the time required then we may consider this. 

What are we looking for?

We are looking for experienced professionals with thorough and rigorous researching skills, excellent english language and written presentation skills, attention to detail and who are able to plan and accurately proofread their own research and work to deadlines.

Our documentaries will play a major role in spearheading our Prize campaigns and Awards, to raise global awareness of our causes, to inspire engagement and to drive significant change, therefore, the Researcher plays an important role in securing their success.

A few more details

As you will be working agilely for most of the role we will provide you with all the support you require. If having satisfactorily completed the first research project for our Care Prize project addressing critical issues facing youth today you wish to work with us long term on our other research projects for our 2022 Peace, Climate, CSR and second Care Prizes this will definitely be an option. Work across all these prize research projects will run simultaneously.
