We are seeking a number of volunteer researchers to join our Falklands War Heritage Centre project to carry out sector specific, in-depth research.

What will you be doing?

The roles are involve flexible working arrangements which we actively encourage and support.

Reporting to the Director of the Project you will be a member of our Research Team and work with other Project Teams as required to support the development of the Heritage Centre agenda.

Your mission

• Research and produce information and analysis on the current state of the Museum and Heritage sector in the UK.

• Research best practice in delivering a sustainable Heritage centre.

• Research the landscape of potential visitors to ensure that our project is consistently moving with or ahead of sector trends.

• Research, and prepare Heritage sector Analysis to support the project Business plan.

• Research, Inform and report on the development of benchmarks and guidance in the Heritage Sector for inclusion in the Business plan.

• Work with the marketing and communications teams to coordinate internal and external communication of Heritage Sector activities

• Coordinate and maintain a bank of Heritage Centre case studies.

• Ability to research, gather and share data information in a way that is accessible and easy to digest.

• Experience of research/ knowledge of research tools and an understanding how this will contribute to our Project.

• Excellent communication skills written and verbal.

• Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively.

• Strong organisational skills.

• Good interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships.

• Report planning and writing skills.

• Accuracy and attention to detail for handling data and reporting findings.

Ultimately, you will be key to keeping the Project on track through the various Business Plan Phases to our ultimate goal of achieving and opening the Falklands War Heritage Centre.
