We are seeking a Research and Policy Specialist to support our podcast research campaign and assist in the creation of our inaugural white paper.

What will you be doing?

Role Overview:

We are seeking  a Research and Policy Specialist to support our podcast research campaign and assist in the creation of our inaugural white paper. This role is instrumental in driving thought leadership and shaping the conversation around STEM education, sustainability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research to support the podcast campaign, identifying trends, case studies, and key topics relevant to STEM and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with the podcast team to develop episode content, including research summaries, key talking points, and suggested guest profiles.
  • Support the creation of the organization’s first white paper by gathering data, drafting sections, and providing analysis and insights.
  • Synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and engaging content for diverse audiences.
  • Monitor and analyze policy developments, reports, and publications to inform the organization’s initiatives.
  • Assist in creating citations, references, and other supporting documentation to ensure research accuracy and credibility.
  • Work with the team to identify key stakeholders and opportunities for thought leadership in relevant policy and research areas.

What are we looking for?

Requirements:

  • Background in research, policy analysis, or a related field (academic and professional experience welcomed).
  • Strong writing and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to synthesize information from multiple sources into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Familiarity with STEM, education, sustainability, or related fields is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using research tools and managing references or data.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a collaborative and remote work environment.
