What will you be doing?

The Role:

  • Provide high-quality counselling services to individuals and/or couples/groups.
  • Conduct initial assessments to determine client needs.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with professional and ethical guidelines.
  • Adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework or equivalent.
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision.

 

What are we looking for?

Essential Requirements:

  • A recognised counselling qualification (e.g., Diploma or Degree).
  • Registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) or equivalent relevant professional body.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Candidates must have previous supervised counselling experience.
  • Candidates must have professional indemnity insurance.
  • Candidates must have an enhanced DBS.

  • You will help individuals improve their mental health by managing and reducing symptoms of anxiety, depression, stress, and other mental health challenges. this will help us in our mission to close the mental health inequality that currently exists.
  • You will create a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their emotions and concerns and help them develop their autonomy
  • Help provide tools and strategies for coping with difficult emotions and situations.
  • Help clients gain a deeper understanding of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
  • You will enable clients' self-awareness, which empowers them to make healthier choices and break negative patterns.
