We are seeking a dedicated Property Management Volunteer to help oversee and maintain our properties. Your role ensures that our facilities are well-maintained, safe, and fully operational, allowing us to focus on our core mission.

What will you be doing?

  • Assist in the day-to-day management of our properties, including routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure properties are up to code.
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers for larger maintenance projects or repairs.
  • Help manage budgets and resources allocated for property maintenance and improvements.
  • Develop and implement property management policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
  • Address tenant or occupant concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of property maintenance activities, expenses, and related documentation.
  • Support efforts to enhance the safety, accessibility, and overall condition of the properties.

What are we looking for?

  • Property management, facilities management, or a related field.
  • Conducting property inspections and managing routine maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinating with contractors, vendors, or service providers.
  • Budgeting and resource management for property-related expenses.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of property laws, building codes, and safety regulations (a plus).
  • A proactive approach to maintaining and improving property conditions.
