We can be totally flexble

We are a Community Amateur Sports Club who has trained 50+ British Champions and performs for the Queen. We have received awards and grants for projects this year which have been very successful and are looking for project manager to support.

What will you be doing?

We require a volunteer to support projects which will aid our clubs expansion. We have recently renovated our full time centre of excellence and been awarded approx £50k from Sport England to improve the facilities. We have also applied for grants for different projects, so we are looking for a project manager to oversee. We would also be interested in taking on someone who can do strategist planning for projects/operations management, but this isn't a necessity for this project as we have already done extensive planning, training of coaches/volunteers. Free sports training at our club is available for all volunteers or their children/grandchildren. We also offer coaches education program and support for volunteers.

What are we looking for?

Someone who can use their initiative and delegate tasks to our volunteers. Project management experience is vital and it would be beneficial to have strategist planning experience for future projects. We work with different target groups so you would need to be a caring person and want to help the community.

What difference will you make?

We have 10 volunteers who qualify as coaches on 13th December so next year will see our club expansion, where we can go out in to the community and provide our services. A project manager would enable us to reach vision, support our volunteers and support the community. following many workshops with our members we have many ideas for projects but we just need the right person on board to help us deliver them.

What's in it for the volunteer?

A chance to work with a team of 28 like-minded volunteers to support the community and make a difference to hundreds of children, people with disabilities, older people and those who cannot afford to attend mainstream activity or are overlooked in sport.
