An impactful opportunity helping to expand a small but wonderful charity, setup by renowned pianist GeNIA, fundraising to support the war-torn region of Kharkiv, Ukraine.
We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and dedicated public relations professional to help us promote our charity, Support Kharkiv Foundation.
The foundation was established by London-based, Ukrainian-born pianist and composer GéNIA to support the citizens of Kharkiv and its surrounding regions, which is a micro-trust in aid of GivingWorks, a charity registered in England and Wales (charity registration No. 1078770).
As an artist, GéNIA raises funds through her concerts, events, and even performances by her pupils. She has a dedicated global following, with supporters ranging from teenagers to elderly individuals. The Patron of our charity is the renowned British actor Chiwetel Ejiofor.
What we need:
• Assistance in creating impactful campaigns
• Promoting our efforts to national and local press outlets
• Contacting organizations with event invitations
• Raising awareness of the campaign
• Advising on newsletter strategies
• Offering guidance on website design
• Providing expertise on campaigns (e.g., concerts, raffles, auctions, and encouraging other artists and musicians to contribute to the cause)
In the past, GéNIA has successfully organized concerts featuring acclaimed British actors such as Bill Nighy and Chiwetel Ejiofor. She has also collaborated with numerous musicians who performed in support of the charity at prominent venues in central London.
We would really benefit from a volunteer who has experience in marketing events and raising funds through a number of channels so that we can increase the reach of our campaigns. Experience with social media & PR will be incredibly beneficial
The volunteer will be our lead PR & Marketing guru, with an opportunity to create and manage their own campaigns that will directly expand the reach of the foundations’ donors. All funds raised go directly to incredible & important organisations in Ukraine, which provide an education for children and support veterans with their rehabilitation
