We are looking for a passionate and proactive lead to support the growth and impact of our podcast by leading partnerships, outreach efforts, and business relations.

What will you be doing?

We are looking for a passionate and proactive volunteer to support the growth and impact of our podcast by leading partnerships, outreach efforts, and business relations. In this role, you will help us expand our network, build meaningful connections, and secure opportunities that align with our mission. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to STEM education while gaining valuable experience in partnerships, outreach, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partnership Development:
    • Identify and connect with potential partners, including schools, STEM organizations, sponsors, and community groups.
    • Develop proposals and cultivate mutually beneficial relationships.
    • Maintain ongoing engagement with partners to foster long-term collaboration.
  2. Outreach and Community Engagement:
    • Develop strategies to increase the podcast’s visibility and reach.
    • Represent the podcast at relevant events, conferences, and webinars (virtual or in-person).
    • Collaborate with educational institutions and non-profits to promote STEM initiatives.
  3. Business Relations:
    • Assist in identifying sponsorship opportunities and securing funding support.
    • Build and sustain relationships with current and potential sponsors.
    • Track and report on the impact of partnerships and sponsorships.
  4. Content Collaboration:
    • Work with the podcast team to connect with guest speakers, subject matter experts, and industry leaders.
    • Support co-branded content creation and promotional campaigns with partners.
  5. Strategic Planning:
    • Contribute to strategic growth initiatives, ensuring alignment of partnerships with long-term goals.
    • Research trends in STEM education and podcasting to inform outreach efforts.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Enthusiastic about STEM education and its potential to inspire diverse audiences.
  • Organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Experience in outreach, partnership development, or business relations.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing or social media is a plus.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
