Volunteer photographer needed for inclusive family event taking place in Leeds, Sunday 29th June.
SNAPS is looking for a talented and enthusiastic volunteer photographer to help us capture the joy, energy, and spirit of our Superhero Challenge 2025 - our biggest fundraising event of the year.
Event Date: Sunday 29th June 2025
Location: John Charles Centre for Sport, Leeds
Time: 10:30am–12:30pm (with arrival from 10am)
The Superhero Challenge gives children with additional needs the chance to feel like superheroes for the day - running, walking or wheeling around a track in their superhero capes, whilst being cheered on by friends, families and supporters. The event also features a variety of inclusive family activities such as face painting, a petting zoo, a silent disco, inflatables, and much more.

Who You’ll Work With

We’ll provide advice on photography consent, so you know exactly who can and can’t be photographed.
This opportunity would suit a photographer who is passionate about community, inclusion, and capturing authentic human moments. Experience working with children or in an event setting is a bonus, but not essential.
By capturing high-quality, heartfelt images of the day, you will play a vital role in helping SNAPS to celebrate and share the magic of the Superhero Challenge.
Your images (which can be fully credited to you) will be used in our reports, newsletters, social media, website, and press coverage, helping us to grow awareness of SNAPS.
Please help us showcase the incredible strength, joy and resilience of our SNAPS families, and be part of something truly special!
