Welcome to Reach Volunteering. We are a community and registered charity that connects people, skills and good causes.

To apply for this role, and any other on our platform, you need to be based in the UK, have at least three years of experience using the skills you wish to volunteer in a professional capacity or have lived experience (for trustee roles). Read more about our criteria.

We are looking for someone with an enthusiasm for a more peaceful world who has both the time to commit and the relevant skills to promote, support and co-ordinate current and new volunteering opportunities

What will you be doing?

Working with our core team of volunteers you will ensure that all new and existing volunteers are welcomed and supported during their time with Peace Partners.

In particular you will:

Work with core team volunteers and trustees to identify Peace Partners’ needs and develop role descriptions where volunteer opportunities have been identified.
Promote and advertise volunteer opportunities as they arise and organise interviews, induction and training, as appropriate
Liaise with volunteers to understand how they work (mostly distance/virtual communications) and asses training or other needs
Monitor and maintain essential records relating to volunteers accreditation, experience, training, etc

Available to attend monthly meetings
A good communicator
At least 3 hours a week available to dedicate to this role
Experience of managing/supervising others
Confident and willing to take responsibility
Comfortable using technology for long distance working including Zoom, Slack, Trello, etc.
