We have a great opportunity for a Volunteer Co-ordinator to join our Donation Projects’ Team.  We are looking for a passionate volunteer with strong administration skills who has some track record in monitoring donations.

What will you be doing?

The main duties of the Projects’ Co-ordinator will include:

  • Liaise with the project/s and monitor donations, receipts, project reports and photos/videos and any other information as required.
  • Check annual projects’ application forms, with focus on due diligence.
  • Compile projects’ information for the Communications Team for use in Newsletter, social media and website.
  • When appropriate, meet or attend any project related events (this only applies to projects with office or officers in London).
  • Should any PAWA supporters wish to visit the project in Asia you will connect the two and ensure a Supporter’s Visit Report is completed after the trip.
  • Support the PAWA Impact Study, including co-ordination between projects and the PAWA impact team as required.
  • Attend quarterly Project Committee team meetings, either via Zoom or in person (in London) and attend bi-annual joint team get together and the PAWA Annual Meeting, usually in March.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a committed individual who has experience in project administration to volunteer on average 6 to 8 hours per month.  The Projects’ Team has an annual workflow schedule and some months will be busier than others.  PAWA is looking for a minimum 2-year commitment.

Ideally, the Projects’ Co-ordinator is someone who:

  • Has excellent administration skills.
  • Has some experience in monitoring projects, be they charity projects or not.
  • A basic understanding of due diligence checks.
  • Is well-organised, can make decisions, manage time, and prioritise.

What difference will you make?

You will have a key role in a team of like-minded professionals from diverse backgrounds.  Your projects administration role will ensure PAWA’s donations from the public and corporates will be well targeted and efficiently used.  Your work will directly change the lives of girls in Asia, help them to get an education, gain self-respect and to escape poverty.
