Do you have website/digital experience within healthcare? If so, the charity Patient Safety Learning are looking for volunteers to give a minimum of 4 hours a month to work alongside the hub content team to enhance their website.
What will you be doing?
the hub is our award-winning online platform for patient safety, offering a powerful combination of tools, resources, stories, ideas, case studies and good practice to anyone who wants to make care safer for patients.
Designed in 2019, with over 6000 members and 1.19 million site visits, we are now looking to improve the website by Improving the accessibility of the site and are looking for someone with digital/website experience to undertake a project auditing the current accessibility of the hub to ensure we are accessible to all who use it.
In return we will provide you with:
3 plus years experience working on websites, specifically with knowledge of website accessibility criteria. Evidence of having improved the accessibility of a website. Experience working on a charity website and knowledge of 'plain English' is desirable.
You will be helping make the hub accessible to everyone who uses it - patients, health and social care professionals, researchers, policy makers, patient safety leaders - and to ensure our content is read globally.
