What will you be doing?

We are seeking Business volunteers to conduct one to one interviews with students and provide feedback. Mock Interview Days gives the students the opportunity to meet a Business Volunteer. The students will be asked to, using a template complete their CV and choose one of 3 jobs to apply for and write a cover letter accordingly.

Each interviewer will give the student a 20 minute interview followed by 10 minutes feedback on such things as cv and cover letter content, appearance, posture and generally how they conducted themselves throughout the interview. Each Business Volunteer will interview 8 to 10 students throughout the day.

What are we looking for?

A business profesional with previous interview and recruitment experience. Should also be Personable, Empathetic, Enthusiastic. At least 3 years in business.

What difference will you make?

  • Guiding students on their route to the world of work
  • Ensuring students will not become NEET, not in employment, education or training
  • Providing a curriculum subject without teaching staff
  • Giving students opportunity to use their soft skills, saying good morning, shaking hands, using eye contact - often challenging for this age group.
