As a mentor/ Coach at PPCIC. You'll empower women facing challenges in employment, healthcare, and personal growth. Share your expertise, inspire confidence, and help build a supportive community through workshops, events, and one-to-one guidance.

What will you be doing?

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of women of colour? Pretty Powerful is seeking mentors and coaches to join our team and help women navigate barriers in employment, healthcare, and personal wellbeing.

What you’ll do:

  • Mentorship & Guidance: Work one-on-one or in small groups to support women in achieving their career, personal, and wellbeing goals.
  • Workshops & Events: Deliver or contribute to workshops, training sessions, or group discussions on topics like career development, mental health, resilience, and empowerment.
  • Resource Development: Assist in creating resources, toolkits, or content to provide ongoing support to women in the community.

Key Deliverables:

  • Empower women with skills, confidence, and knowledge to overcome challenges in employment and healthcare.
  • Build a safe, inclusive environment where women can thrive and connect.
  • Help expand Pretty Powerful's reach and impact through your contributions to workshops and programs.

Who you’ll work with:

  • The role involves collaboration with the Pretty Powerful team, including other volunteers, content creators, and event organisers. You will also engage directly with the women we serve during workshops, support sessions, and events.

Flexibility:This role is flexible and can be adapted to your skills and availability. Whether you can dedicate time weekly or prefer occasional involvement in events and workshops, we’re happy to discuss how you can contribute effectively to our mission.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, or facilitation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and a commitment to supporting women of diverse backgrounds.
  • Expertise in topics like career development, mental health, self-care, or personal development (optional but beneficial).
