We are seeking an empathetic and experienced Mentoring and Coaching Volunteer to support personal and professional development within our organisation. Your guidance will help our beneficiaries to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.

What will you be doing?

  • Provide one-on-one mentoring and coaching to individuals, helping them identify and work towards their personal and professional goals.
  • Develop personalized development plans that address the unique needs and aspirations of each mentee.
  • Offer advice, support, and feedback to help individuals overcome challenges and build confidence.
  • Facilitate workshops or group sessions on relevant topics such as career development, goal setting, and personal growth.
  • Monitor the progress of mentees and adjust strategies to ensure they stay on track.
  • Collaborate with other volunteers and staff to ensure a holistic approach to each individual's development.
  • Maintain confidentiality and a supportive environment for all participants.
  • Stay updated on best practices in mentoring and coaching to provide the most effective support.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a volunteer with experience in:

  • Mentoring, coaching, counselling, or a related field.
  • Developing and implementing personalised development plans.
  • Providing guidance and support to help others achieve their goals.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • A passion for helping others grow personally and professionally.
  • Experience in facilitating workshops or group sessions (a plus).
