Do you love to support and empower people? We are looking for compassionate champions to join our volunteer mentoring programme. Help mentees build confidence, get established in community and develop independence.
The Build mentoring programme supports survivors of modern slavery. Our programme champions people's dignity, contribution and growth through mentoring. A volunteer mentor is paired with a co mentor meeting fortnightly in the community with a mentee; being a friendly support, setting goals, exploring opportunities and life skills.
All volunteer mentors are supported and accountable to the Build Coordinators with regular check-ins and ongoing training and support available.
As a mentor your impact on an individual makes such a difference. Come and be a champion and help people flourish by supporting them through confidence building, engaging in their community, and goals that are meaningful to them.
