As a Mentor Programmer at Digital Learning Ongoing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of programmers and digital innovators. You will work closely with talent aged 16-30, providing guidance & support

What will you be doing?


  1.  Mentor and support young talent in career development methodologies, and best practices.
  2. Design and deliver engaging learning experiences, including workshops about mentoring
  3. Provide personalised feedback and constructive criticism to help learners overcome challenges and improve their career proficiency.
  4. Collaborate with the curriculum create and update educational materials, resources...
  5. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements 
  6. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  7. Track and monitor the progress of mentees, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to address learning gaps.
  8. Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance mentorship skills and expertise.


  1. Degree
  2. Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software development, programming, or related roles.
  3. Proficiency in life
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate learners of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
  5. Demonstrated experience in mentoring, coaching.
  6. Passion for technology, education, and empowering others to succeed in the digital age.
  7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  8. Familiarity with digital learning platforms, online resources, and tools is a plus.
  9. Experience with project management, curriculum development, or instructional design is desirable but not required.

Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to adapt to the needs of learners and adjust teaching methodologies accordingly. Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving learning objectives and priorities.

Collaborative Spirit: Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, curriculum developers, and other stakeholders. Willingness to share knowledge, contribute ideas, and participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.

Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot coding challenges. Capacity to guide learners through the process of debugging code and finding creative solutions to technical issues.
