About the role

Our organisation operates in three key areas: editorial, education, and policy. Our board has four members with expertise in media and the arts. We are looking for up to three new trustees with an interest or background in the following areas:

  • Education
  • Policy research and advocacy
  • Fundraising

As a trustee, you'll help advise our leadership teams, contribute your unique perspective, and shape our overall strategy. We're open to a variety of skill sets, and we're primarily looking for people passionate about our mission who want their input to make a difference.

What are we looking for?

  • Passion for improving access and mobility in education and cultural sectors, particularly for socio-economically disadvantaged groups
  • Experience securing funding and building partnerships
  • Strong communication skills, able to articulate your ideas and collaborate effectively
  • Connections within relevant sectors (eg. education, arts & culture, philanthropy, public policy)

What difference will you make?

Our vision is to build fairer systems that make the world less exhausting for everyone, focusing on removing barriers to entry and mobility in education and the arts. We expect you to share this mission while bringing your own ideas on how to achieve it. Through your knowledge, experience, and networks, you'll help to secure funding and partnerships which enable the organisation to thrive and grow sustainably.

By joining our board, you'll have direct input into the structure and implementation of our programmes and influence the organisation's overall strategic direction. Prior trustee experience is not required!

Before you apply

Please apply via Reach with an attached cover letter to let us know why you're interested in working with Wild Peach Project, and why you're right for the role. The deadline to apply is 30/09/2024, but we will be conducting rolling interviews so we encourage anyone interested to apply early.
