Marketing Manager at Endometriosis South Coast: Lead marketing efforts to raise awareness, engage supporters, and promote women's health initiatives.

What will you be doing?

This role is instrumental in furthering our mission and making a lasting impact in the lives of those with endometriosis.

Marketing Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the organisation's mission, goals, and initiatives.
  • Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns, events, and initiatives to promote endometriosis awareness and support.

Brand Management:

  • Oversee the organisation's brand identity, ensuring consistency in messaging and design across all marketing materials and platforms.

Digital Marketing:

  • Manage the organisation's online presence, including the website and social media channels.
  • Create and curate content, including articles, graphics, and videos, to engage and inform our online community.
  • Utilise digital marketing strategies to expand our online reach and engagement.

Content Creation:

  • Develop compelling content that educates, informs, and engages our audience. This includes blog posts, newsletters, press releases, and social media content.
  • Ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligns with best practices in endometriosis advocacy and support.

Public Relations and Media:

  • Cultivate relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to promote the organization's work and initiatives.
  • Handle media inquiries and coordinate interviews and press releases.

Community Engagement:

  • Foster engagement with our community, including individuals affected by endometriosis, healthcare professionals, and supporters.
  • Plan and execute events, campaigns, and initiatives to connect with and empower our community.

Fundraising Support:

  • Collaborate with the fundraising team to support marketing efforts for fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Create compelling marketing materials to inspire donations and support for our cause.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing efforts using relevant metrics and analytics tools.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and improve engagement.

What are we looking for?

Marketing Expertise: Proven experience in marketing and communications, with a track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.

Digital Proficiency: 

Strong understanding of digital marketing, including website management, SEO, social media, and email marketing.

Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for marketing campaigns.

Content Creation:

Excellent writing and content creation skills, with the ability to craft compelling and informative content.

Proficiency in graphic design and video editing is a plus.

Brand Management:

Experience in maintaining and enhancing brand identity, ensuring consistency in messaging and design.

Public Relations:

Strong public relations skills, including the ability to build relationships with media, influencers, and stakeholders.

Proficiency in managing media inquiries and coordinating interviews.

Community Engagement:

A passion for community engagement and experience in planning and executing community-focused events and initiatives.

Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical skills to monitor and evaluate marketing performance and use data-driven insights to make improvements.

 

Experience in the non-profit sector, especially in women's health advocacy, is advantageous but not mandatory.

The ability to work collaboratively with other team members, volunteers, and board members to achieve common goals.

Sensitivity and awareness of cultural diversity, with the ability to engage with a broad range of individuals and communities respectfully.

Effective time management to balance marketing responsibilities with other duties and commitments.

A strong commitment to the organization's mission and a passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by endometriosis.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective messaging and engagement with diverse audiences.
