  7. Providing written monthly reports on marketing and communication activity and outcomes.

What difference will you make?

Having established a successful model of delivery we now need your help to raise more funds grow the charity so we can:

  • Extend the roll out of the initial pilot in a phased approach to 18 villages in 6 clusters, sponsoring many more pupils, supported by co-ordinated coaching and mentoring.
  • To ensure village schools have the infrastructure they need to support the wellbeing and education of pupils and for the benefit of the village communities – teaching materials and books.
  • To progress local and diaspora partnerships, co-ordinating activities with like-minded charities and individuals.
  • To be able to demonstrate the impact secured from the project activities, in the short, intermediate, and long term and sustain ongoing investment in the charitable purpose.

In the longer term our strategy is to:

  • Grow the charity into a lead enabling organisation to reduce the numbers of children deprived of a primary school education in the villages in Nigeria.
  • To extend our sponsorship to pupils who progress to secondary, vocational and university education.
  • To provide ongoing mentoring and coaching support to our children, demonstrating the acquisition of life skills and diversion from poverty, exploitation, and gangs.
  • To provide an evidence base in support of further investment in sponsored education.
  • Stem the dangerous emigration exodus of the future generation of young Nigerians through the Saharah and the Mediterranean sea to the UK, Europe and beyond, creating future community leaders and agents of change.
