Do you have the marketing skills and experience to help a small growing charity? Can you grow our customer base? Can you help us engage our audience? If so, then Adenydd needs you!

What will you be doing?

This is an opportunity to work with a small but dynamic team who are passionate about ‘helping the world to feel a safer place for children with developmental trauma’ resulting from adverse childhood experiences. You will be bringing new ideas and possibilities to our organisation.

You will make a huge difference to our charity as we are a very small team currently. Initially you will work alongside the CEO but we are looking for someone who can take on the responsibility for this area by growing into the role to enable the CEO to focus on the strategic development of the charity and the delivery of projects.

We have a number of projects and programmes that we can offer to potential customers, including schools and social services departments,  and we need your help to get our offer out there. The more people we can train and the more projects we can run in schools, the more we can support children who really need the people around them to have a more in-depth understanding of their complex needs and how to support them effectively.

Our training and projects offer practical ideas and activities that can really help children when they are struggling. Staff often tell us that they desperately want to help the children who are struggling but simply don't know how to. The feedback we receive tells us that this is an area of need that we have supported very effectively. Now we want to reach more staff in order to support more children. Can you help us to do that by spreading the word of what we do and engaging new customers? Can you help us to grow our circle of influence? Can you help us to harness our existing networks to expand them and connect with new customers? Can you be part of our team? Then we really want to hear from you!

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a volunteer to lead our marketing efforts and support the growth of our charity!

Skills/Responsibilities/Abilities:

  • Experience in digital and social media marketing tools and strategies
  • Support areas for improvement
  • Support new ways to expand our reach
  • Strong creative skills who can come up with new ideas and create compelling content that resonate with relevant audiences
  • Passion for marketing
  • Research and analysis skills
  • Interpersonal communication skills
  • Enthusiasm and ambition
  • Experience of growing a customer base

What difference will you make?

We are growing and we'll guarantee there will be many opportunities to feel proud of your work and the difference you can make to our work.

  1. Influence. We welcome new ideas and perspectives, can you broaden our diverse team and challenge our thinking?
  2. Be remote but connected. Freedom to work from anywhere in the world, with flexible hours, but still be an integral part of a team
  3. Do good. Volunteering for a good cause improves your general well being.
  4. Be part of change. Bring your passion, energy and creativity to participate.

Before you apply

You will be offered an initial informal Teams discussion with the HR Team Lead to explore your interest in the role and how we might work together. All of our appointments are subject to our Safer Recruitment Policy which includes the need for 2 references - one personal and one professional.
