The Cater Museum is looking for enthusiastic Trustees with drive and energy to ensure the transformation of the Museum into the thriving community hub it has the potential to be.
The Cater Museum is a small museum with big ambitions! We are looking for committed individuals from a variety of backgrounds who are eager to share their knowledge, time and expertise. Being a trustee of The Cater Museum would mean making decisions that would impact the visitors, our community and museum personnel. Trustees would be required to use their expertise to support the strategic development of the museum.

The Cater Museum’s Board meets a maximum of 6 times a year, with the meetings lasting between 2 and 3 hours
The Cater Museum is hoping to find a committed marketing and income generation trustee to help understand and expand our audience, identify funding opportunities and increase the museum’s profile.

As a Trustee you would be an integral and valued part of The Cater Museum team. You would have the opportunity to play a part in the museum's future as well as engage with exciting projects and developments. As a Trustee you would have access to museum focused training and networking groups. As The Cater Museum is a member of the Museum's Association our trustees, staff and volunteers have access to reduced cost personal membership. Benefits of this includes free or discounted entry to museums or special exhibitions.
