We are looking for a volunteer or a group of volunteers to carry out a research project.
Currently, we work to provide donated furniture to the local community at low or no cost. We are wanting to investigate the need for carpets & curtains in York, and the barriers people have to getting these in their homes.
Working with the council, CFS want to be able to provide these for those who need them, to ensure they have homes which are warm, comfortable, and private.
We need to figure out what we could do to meet this need.
We are looking for somebody to find out:
We are looking for somebody with experience in market research and project management. You will be able to produce good quality research that we can access and understand easily.
Ideally, you will have experience or knowledge of furniture poverty, or wider poverty & inequalities in the UK, and an understanding of the current landscape when it comes to funding and resources available to charities working against poverty.
You will help us make a direct impact on our local community by widening our operations. By providing us with this research, we will be able to start work to directly supply these additional necessities to those who need it.
