Trustee meetings are usually held on Tues evenings, once every 2 mths. On top of this there are regular emails to feedback on any outstanding issues.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about mental health and making a difference. We are looking for someone with legal and/or financial experience, that being said, this is not compulsory and we welcome any applicants.

What will you be doing?

WATCH CIC provides a friendly and supportive space for people who are experiencing loneliness, isolation, depression, anxiety, or other mental health challenges. We offer a range of activities, workshops, peer support, and social events to help our members feel valued, connected, and empowered. We are in the process of converting to become a charity.

As a trustee, you will be part of a team that oversees the strategic direction and management of the charity. You will ensure that we comply with our legal obligations, safeguard our assets and resources, and deliver our mission and vision. You will also contribute your skills and expertise to support the development and growth of the charity. 

What are we looking for?

- A qualification in accounting or finance, qualification and experience in law and experience in a relevant field 

- A commitment to the vision, values, and objectives of WATCH

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

- The ability to work as part of a team and contribute to strategic decisions 

- The availability to attend board meetings at least 6 times per annum (usually held online) and occasional events
