This volunteer role focuses on writing and optimising content, maximising followers, and leveraging LinkedIn algorithms to enhance visibility. The focus is to boost our reach and engagement, with some key goals over the next 3 months. 

What will you be doing?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and tailor content with Workstyle tone of voice but specifically for LinkedIn, ensuring it is digestible, engaging, and aligned with platform best practices.
  • Optimise posts based on LinkedIn algorithms to maximise reach and visibility.
  • Analyse performance metrics to refine content strategy and improve engagement.
  • Advise on the best media formats (e.g., text posts, carousels, videos) for LinkedIn content.
  • Ensure all content is accessible and inclusive, incorporating features such as alt text, captions, and clear formatting.
  • Stay up to date with LinkedIn trends and algorithm changes to continuously enhance content effectiveness.

What are we looking for?

Skills/Experience:

  • Proven experience in growing engagement and followings on LinkedIn.
  • Understanding of LinkedIn algorithms and content optimisation strategies.
  • Ability to create concise, compelling, and visually engaging content tailored to LinkedIn audiences.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices, including alt text, readable formats, and inclusive language.
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and refine content strategies based on performance.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work within branding guidelines.
  • Awareness of emerging trends and opportunities within LinkedIn’s professional networking space.
