LinkAble is a charity which provides exciting activities for children and adults with learning disabilities. We would like to recruit a Legal Trustee to bolster our experience on our Board as well as our Risk and Governance Committee.
We are looking for a trustee with a legal background, preferably a qualified lawyer who lives in Woking or the surrounding areas.
Evening Trustee meetings are held about every 6 weeks. Induction and training is provided, as is support from an experienced and knowledgeable Trustee and staff team. The Legal trustee will be invited to join one or two committees, probably Governance and People. They may also wish to be Chair of a committee. The time commitment overall is roughly 1-2 days a month.
