We are developing an app through which our service users can talk to an adviser. There will be a monthly surgery which will be on line.

Time to Heal is a  registered in Aberdeen  Scotland, providing support for victims and Survivors of Domestic abuse We are looking  for volunteers to join our newly-created legal support team.

What will you be doing?

As a legal Support Volunteer, you will be delivering first-hand advice on what domestic abuse victims/survivors can do to protect themselves - avenues of seeking redress, remedies available, immigration routes and general legal advice. Practising lawyers who have keen interest in all or any of family law, human rights law, immigration law, and charity regulations are needed. If your expertise is not included in the list, please you are very much still needed.

What difference will you make?

We are a growing organisation providing support for victims and survivals of domestic abuse. With Covid lock down, there have been an escalating cases of abuse some of which require legal advisers.  You coming to help us at this crucial time will make a huge difference in the lives of our service users and also for us as an organisation.

What's in it for the volunteer?

We are happy to cover any expenses relating to the work and a certificates of recognition will be given  awarded at the end of the volunteering work.
