PODTech Network CIC is looking for support or advice on writing recurring hosting contracts, terms and conditions and policies that revolve around web development.

What will you be doing?

Join a growing team of volunteers based in Oxfordshire supporting vulnerable clients get their business online. PODTech is a non-profit which assists clients in up skilling their digital capacity to build WordPress websites.

PODTech is looking for a friendly passionate individuals to help support our team with advice or support in writing web hosting terms and conditions, contracts and GDPR. Your support will be an essential part for us to deliver much needed services to clients that have been displaced by a lack of digital training. 

This role is open to anyone and is flexible to suit your needs. PODTech is looking for a Legal Adviser to volunteer as much or little hours as they like with no fixed duration.

You will work closely with other passionate volunteers and the founder to offer advice and support around our current terms and conditions. We would also like help laying out a template GDPR policy for our clients to use. This will be essential for PODTech to ensure our policies are clear and that our clients have a basic level of compliance to adapt for their website.

Work will be done remotely with weekly catchups with the founder if required.

What are we looking for?

This role is open to anyone and is flexible to suit your needs. PODTech is looking for a Legal Adviser with industry experience working with reoccurring contracts to volunteer as much or little hours as they like with no fixed duration.

What difference will you make?

This role will assist PODTech in reaching a wider audience through our social media. With this, we hope to make more vulnerable clients aware of our programme and support them getting their business online.

This is primarily achieved through teaching practical, transferrable skills and increasing clients digital capacity through building and maintaining a professional business website. The seemingly simple act of getting a business online can encourage clients to make meaningful steps to secure a stable income through their own entrepreneurship and reduce their dependance on income support
